Since Instagram among other places only allows one linkable link (that sounds weird, but whatever)...I decided to create a home link space to link to my other blogs. Hopefully that doesn't scare people off...but since I am blogging again more for my own benefit vs for others and not seeking a huge following...I guess I am cool with this route scaring away folks who aren't as committed to blog-stalking...LOL!!
So without further ado...let me intro you to my various blogs...most of which are in the midst of overhauls since they have been LONG neglected!! Patience is a virtue, ya'll!! I am hoping to get at least one post per blog out weekly...but please bear with me on that!!
ORGANIZED CHAOS, GYPSY SOUL
My original blog...which was started back in the "olden days" of 2005 on such platforms as Yahoo360 and Xanga!! Thankfully, before those went defunct or behind a paywall I had the foresight to transfer over my old posts from the other platforms to the Blogspot location and backdate them to when they were originally published...and then continued to blog from Blogspot!! I only wish I had had a way to save all the comments from the other platforms...as that was in the days when personal blogs that weren't monetized were prolific and in those pre-Facebook days, everyone actually read and commented on each others blogs!! I have long neglected this old blog...but if you want to know a bit more about me and where I come from...this blog has the most (and the oldest) entries. Hoping to get back to it someday soon...but my other blogs will be taking precedence as I get back into blogging.
ESSENTIAL SIMPLICITY
Back when Tsh Oxenreider was first blogging about simplicity, so was I!! However, she was a more prolific and talented writer and businesswoman...so she turned her blog into a media empire and published books...while my little blog petered out after kids came along. I do hope to get posting there again very soon about capsule wardrobes and how we have simplified in our home...as well as hopefully bring in some other minimalist friends to tell about their simplifying as well. However, my old posts were reverted to drafts a couple years back...so there isn't much to see there yet till I can tweak some of those old posts and come up with some new ones!!
FORT WORTH MOM REVIEWS
Here is where I am hoping to create a space where moms and other caretakers of little ones and elementary aged homeschool children can find out about places to go...mostly on the Fort Worth side of the metroplex...that are free or budget-friendly. Some will be simply for play and some educational. This blog is one of the two I am currently creating content for and concentrating on reviving at this point.
WORLDSCHOOL LIFE
Here is where I will be posting more homeschool related posts...about the curriculum that we use, our routines and schedules (and why we chose to have ones that are different than most), our memory work, and how we approach our subject related projects without getting in over our heads or burnt out!! It will be mostly a journal about what works, what doesn't work, and what we are up to. By virtue of the fact that I will be blogging on places we go, there will likely be some overlap between this blog and the mom review blog...but I will do my best to keep the content unique to the specific blogs as much as possible.

That's my blogs folks!! There are others that I have that are private or archived for now...but these are my shareable ones. But of course because we are a social media driven society these days I will also share links to my various social media profiles (with a bit of explanation)!!
FACEBOOK
The caveat for my Facebook is that I mostly post non-public posts there...so unless you happen to already be one of my Facebook friends...or I have gotten to know you a bit online in groups or forums first or through mutual friends...I don't tend to friend everyone. No offense!!
PINTEREST
After being a rather prolific pinner back in the beta days, I have slowed down considerably. I have also not cleaned up my links in ages...so there's that. I cannot guarantee that all my pins will work properly...but as there are thousands, I bet you can find some good stuff!! 😊
INSTAGRAM
As far as public social media accounts go...I am most prolific currently on Instagram...though I do tend to post in batches a couple times a week. You can definitely keep up with what we are up to best via Instagram...though of course the blogs will hopefully also get a couple posts each a week.
